This is my first journal entry in like, over a month and I know barely any ppl are gonna read it, and that's fine. It's just ramblingzes anyway. Neway, I'm going to start writing a book. I've always wanted to so I'm gonna try my darndest to keep this one going. I mean, not a pidly little kids book, I'm gonna try to strive for something interesting. I got what I think is a pretty good idea for it.

My inspiration started with my writer's block. The day summer hit, so did the cursed block. So I tried my hardest to think up good stories, but they all sucked and were blown away in the wind. I wanted to rp with someone so I thought I would try a friend from school, Ed, who I had asked prior to the summer if he would. Turns out he moved (not like, away, just in with a friend since he's over 18 and sick of his parents) and was way to busy to. Well, anyway, I had already come up with a story to rp about elemental peeps trying to find a spirit hidden in the human world. But, it wasn't stable enough. I kept the idea but didn't use it for anything. Then I watched the movie Juno. Now there's an interesting idea. Not the whole pregnancy thing, something said in the movie. Juno was the wife of Zeus. Well, I could use Greek gods, I mean, they have elemental power. Then I threw that idea out the window. How was I supposed to fit Greek gods into a friggin story? So then I have a friend on WoW who loves to write and he totally sent me some of his book that he was trying to write (and it was amazing, reminded me of Trigun). Then it dawned upon me, I hadn't tried an actual book before, just random stories. So now I had a purpose. So I thought, well, how about base a story on Earth. OMFG on EARTH!? I've never tried writing a story based on our friggin planet before. So I was like, well, how could I make it interesting without effing it up? Then I was watching Oprah, yes I watch Oprah, and they were talking about living longer. Then at the end they showed a lab where they were testing dna and stuffs and a flashback hit me. I remembered a wimpy story I had thought up where there were these kids who were used as experiments escaping from a lab. Then at the end of the show they totally said that in the future we will discover ways to live longer.
And then the story hit me. After all of that, it hit me and it seemed to fit together.
I'm gonna post the prologue later. I hope you all will enjoy it, I'm gonna try my hardest to make this my best story yet!
